We had a lovely time today at our teddy bear’s picnic. The weather was so good, we had to look for the shade!
This is my last blog post and I would like to say a big thank you for your support and kind words over the last 2 years. I’m very proud of the work that the boys and girls have done and I can’t wait to see how they get on in 1st class!
Our pumpkins have been coming on well over the summer months. I’ve seen lots of flowers but no sign of fruit yet. I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
On the other hand, there was a brilliant surprise waiting in our school garden:
A full sized pumpkin! I’m still hopeful for our crop but it’s great to see our award winning school garden flourishing.
Our pumpkins are now planted outside and are being carefully watched for any mildew or slugs. Fingers crossed we get some good weather for growing!
These fabric Clever Pots are brilliant but I’m still not sure how I’ll get them back to school at the end of August ☺️
Our pumpkin seedlings are looking healthy. We should have a good patch of homegrown pumpkins for Halloween 2017!
The pressure is on to make sure they survive the summer holidays!
